PourPerfect is an app that helps coffee enthusiasts achieve the perfect pour-over. It provides a step-by-step guide and a timer to ensure the correct amount of water is added at the right pace for the best tasting coffee. It also has a calculator to help users determine the correct coffee to water ratio for their preferred strength.

Pour Over Coffee Guide

Step 1:
Prepare your coffee equipment, including the pour over coffee maker, paper filter, coffee grinder, and coffee mug.
Step 2:
Grind your coffee beans to a medium-fine grind, and place the paper filter in the pour over coffee maker. Rinse the paper filter with hot water to remove any paper taste.
Step 3:
Place the pour over coffee maker on top of your coffee mug. Add the ground coffee to the filter.
Step 4:
Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to "bloom" the coffee. Wait for 30 seconds.
Step 5:
Slowly pour the remaining hot water over the coffee grounds, making sure to wet all the grounds evenly. Refer to the calculations above for the correct amount of water.
Step 6:
Wait for the water to drain through the coffee grounds and into your coffee mug.
Step 7:
Enjoy your perfect pour over coffee! You can add milk or sugar if desired. Refer to the calculations above for the correct amount of milk.
